Widely regarded as Singapore's most famous fashion and celebrity photographer, Wee Khim started out in the business when he helped out at the studio of his uncle, Chua Soo Bin, an established lensman in the '80s. Well-known for his congenial ways and easy rapport with his photography subjects, Wee Khim is firm favourite of top celebs who warm to his charismatic personal style. And it is precisely the opportunity for human interaction that explains Wee Khim's preference for people rather than product photography. He is constantly working on editorials and even bagged the Fashion Photographer of the Year for two years running in 2002 and 2003. Adding to his glamourous magazine work, he also shoots high profile ad campaigns with Nokia, Sony, Canon, Singtel, Starhub, Nike, STB and many more. |
